A Home Designed with Heart
This house was created as a home for our small family, thoughtfully designed around the way we love to live. I had a clear vision of what I wanted—something compact yet complete, where every space feels connected and intentional. A warm, homely atmosphere was essential, blending natural Balinese charm with the timeless beauty of reclaimed teak from old Javanese joglos.
With a deep love for craftsmanship, we combined materials and created elements from scratch. The design embraces outdoor living, ensuring that even when you're inside, you feel surrounded by nature. A place where warmth, creativity, and a deep connection to the environment come together in harmony.
You can now retreat in it yourself from July 2025!
It is a creative house for a family, a couple, two couples or a solo traveller with an inviting veranda, garden and pool that blends perfectly into the natural surroundings. The modern interior is mixed with rustic Indonesian characteristic. The high ceiling and soft romantic colours make you feel right at home. The large glass patio doors allow easy access to the garden to enjoy your breakfast outdoors.
Feel at home with warm earth colours, art objects, personal ceramic works, personally made accessories, and luxurious fabrics that are combined with vintage furniture.
The space
The house features light-filled living areas with loft-like windows, open plan kitchen, and two ensuite bedrooms (sleeping 5), ideal for a special holiday with your family or friends.. Outside in the tropical garden with typical vegetation, you will find inviting spaces to chill out and relax. The attractive swimming pool provides a moment of relaxation and you can prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Feel free to use some of the herbs or vegetables from the permaculture garden.
Designed for relaxation and barefoot luxury. It's a space where the spirit of aliveness is felt in every breath.
Location
House of Flow is located in Kedungu, a small charming surfing village in tropical Bali.
The village offers you some lovely cafes and restaurants, it is at walking distance just around the corner. There is an empty beach famous for good surf waves coming in. A horsestable with rescued horses. And beautiful ricefields. On a short distance you will find villages as Canggu famous for shopping, cafes, restaurants and nightlife, but it is far enough to simmer down and experience Bali in a slow pace.
